Michael Fleming Joins UDS!

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Michael Fleming has joined the UDS Institutional Research team as our new Associate Director of Institutional Research.  As Associate Director of IR, Michael will support the ad hoc data and analytic needs of Mills College as well as other university constituents; support standardized IR reporting such as IPEDS and NECHE; and will be working with university and/or college leaders on various data projects to support their information needs.

Michael brings to UDS over twenty years of experience in the field of institutional research and assessment.  Some of you may recall that Michael most recently served as the longtime Director of Planning, Analytics, and Effectiveness for Mills College, where he was responsible for Mills’ CDS, IPEDS, accreditation reporting, and other internal and external analysis.  Prior to joining Mills, Michael has also held IR, assessment, and data leadership roles at Lee College, Morehouse College, and Fisk University.  Michael earned his bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College, and his master’s and Ph.D. from UCLA.  We are excited to bring Michael’s energy and expertise to UDS and to the greater Northeastern community.  Please join us in congratulating Michael, welcoming him to his new role in UDS, and celebrating the official California expansion of the UDS office!
