NEWS & ANNOUNCEMENTS

Four babies and a Promotion

The past year has seen the UDS extended family grow to include four new arrivals! In December of 2024 Jackie Moore and her husband welcomed Eleanor to the world. And just prior to that Kaslong Nda and his wife Kate welcomed Miseng to their family. Both kids are over a year old now and doing everything you’d expect one-year olds to do, like keeping their parents on their toes and testing their ability to go without sleep.  We look forward to these Huskies joining the Class of 2046!

Enjoying additions to the family is not limited to parents – grandparents get in the act as well!  Last June, Diana Danelian’s daughter gave birth to Kaia, younger sister to Henry, so Diana is now the proud grandmother of two, doubling her fun and her babysitting time.  And most recently, Mark Chambers entered the world of grandparenthood, welcoming Charlotte to the family in November.  All of these precocious kids will be counting their fingers and toes in no time, so can Tableau expertise be far behind?

Our congratulations are also extended to Nate Lemay, who recently got promoted to Data & Administrative Coordinator, adding new responsibilities with the Data Administration team to his original position.  With these extended job duties, you will be seeing more of Nate at various data governance forum meetings.  We thank Nate for his ongoing support of, and dedication to, University Decision Support!

Nate is currently continuing his education at the graduate level as he pursues a master’s degree in history at Salem State.  He is a talented musician, leading a local band, Nate Perry and Ragged Company, as its rhythm guitarist, singer, and songwriter.  You can catch their shows around the Boston area and their music on Spotify.
