Data Classification Group

Created by the Data Administration Policy and Security (DAPSec) Committee, the Data Classification Subgroup is tasked with creating Guidelines with defined processes and procedures in place to manage the categorization of data according to its risk level to the University. The goal of the group is to ensure that the institution is in compliance with all applicable regulations and is in an audit-ready state.

The Data Classification Subgroup is comprised of members from Compliance, Data Administration, Internal Audit, Office of the General Counsel, and the Office of Information Security.
