This fall, the Data & AI Literacy Program announced the launch of the Data & Analytics Fellow learning path, a new credential designed to formally recognize advanced data knowledge and skills across Northeastern University. We are pleased to share that the program is now fully operational, with all badge courses live in Canvas and early adopters already earning their first credentials.
Badges and Courses Now Live
All four badges in the Data & Analytics Fellow learning path are now available. Participants can now enroll in any of the three milestone badge courses in Canvas (Data Governance Leader, Tableau Advanced Analyst, and Snowflake Analyst), with the culminating Data & Analytics Fellow badge earned upon completing all three.
Each Canvas course includes a mix of learning resources and assessments designed to prepare participants for the corresponding badge. Those who have already mastered the material can go directly to the assessments, while others can work through the learning modules first to build or strengthen their skills before attempting the badge.
Early Enrollment and First Badge Earners
Enrollment is off to a strong start. Sixteen staff members have enrolled in the Data Governance Leader course, reflecting broad interest in this foundational area. Four colleagues have enrolled in each of the Tableau Advanced Analyst and Snowflake Analyst courses.
Most excitingly, five NU employees have already completed all requirements and earned the Data Governance Leader badge! We would like to extend our warmest congratulations to:
